Tlaxcalancingo, Puebla. April 5, 2024. As part of its Socially Responsible Company program (ESR), Productos Jumbo attended the Una Nueva Esperanza foundation's monthly gathering to celebrate April birthdays and Children's Day.
With great enthusiasm, employees from Productos Jumbo volunteered in a range of activities, from organizing and cleaning the venue to games and dancing with the children. They also handed out small gifts, including toys, balls and coloring materials.
It is important to note that the Una Nueva Esperanza Foundation is a nonprofit organization in Puebla that improves the socioeconomic conditions of underprivileged children and young people diagnosed with cancer, providing comprehensive support and guidance during treatment to help improve their life expectancy.
As another way to support the foundation, Productos Jumbo runs an ongoing plastic bottle cap collection program at its factory. Employees contribute large quantities of caps, which are donated to the foundation so it can sell them to recycling companies and generate income to support its operations.
In this way, Productos Jumbo continues its commitment to Mexican society and to children and young people facing difficult circumstances. We believe that actions big and small can continue bringing joy to the children of Una Nueva Esperanza.
